Many hurt in accidents

A 22-year-old Bedoun was injured in a road accident at the UN roundabout Monday. He was referred to Sabah Hospital for treatment. Another Bedoun suffered multiple injuries and fractures in a two-vehicle collision on Fahaheel Motorway. He was referred to Mubarak Hospital and securitymen got the vehicles removed from the road. Furthermore, a Bedoun motorcyclist, 17, was injured when he lost control on the bike and fell down. He was referred to Adan Hospital.

Also, two Kuwaitis in their 30s sustained injuries in another road accident that took place between Adaliya and Rawda areas. Paramedics rushed them to Amiri Hospital. In yet another two-vehicle collision, two Pakistanis and an Indian suffered injuries. The accident took place on Sebiya Motorway and the victims were referred to Jahra Hospital. Another Indian expatriate was injured in an accident on Sabhan Motorway and sources say he was referred to Farwaniya Hospital. Lastly, a half lorry driven by an Egyptian expatriate crashed into a patrol vehicle belonging to the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences on the Sixth Ring Road. The Egyptian suffered injuries and was referred to a hospital.
