MEW sets up branch at airport to collect overdue bills
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 3: The Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) has set up a branch of its Consumer Affairs Section at the Kuwait International Airport to facilitate travelers who wish to pay their overdue bills or process other transactions before flying out of the country, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Undersecretary for Consumers Affairs Jassem Al-Lunqawi said the office was set up under the instructions of Minister Dr Bader Al-Shuraiaan and added that it will function 24 hours. Al-Lunqawi said they will inaugurate more such branches in various areas to facilitate consumers. He also called on consumers to clear all their bills.
