129 illegals caught in Farwaniya, Jleeb police raids to be deported

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 30: The Farwaniya police during a crackdown on residence law violators and people staying illegally in the country are said to have arrested 86 individuals, reports Al-Shahed daily.
Some of those arrested are wanted by law in connection with crimes and they had been sentenced in absentia by a court.
All those arrested have been referred to the authorities.
The daily added, a similar security campaign in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh netted 43 expatriates.
They have been referred to the concerned authorities to prepare their deportation from the country.
During the campaign police have also found three cars which were reported stolen by their owners.


Girls school broken into: Police are looking for unidentified persons for breaking into an intermediate school for girls in Ali Sabah Al-Salem area in Umm Al-Haiman and stealing musical instruments and exam papers, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits.

Bikes seized, groceries razed: The Mina Abdullah police have confiscated 30 motorbikes and ‘destroyed’ a number of unlicensed groceries in the area, reports Al-Rai daily.
This happened when residents of the area complained that young motor bikers were racing in the area and making stunts with their two-wheelers and endangering the lives of other road users.

Drug addict arrested: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for possessing drugs, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reports the man was arrested on suspicion and when police checked his car they found 250 grams of heroin and a syringe containing a dose of heroin.
Police sources say the man is a drug addict. He was earlier involved in drug trafficking activities. He has been referred to the General Department for Drug Control.
