Worley Parsons bag 18th FBAA Conference Hankook Tires finish 2nd best KUWAIT CITY, Nov 29: Worley Parsons Resources & Energy showed how good they were by collecting the crown after compiling 209 wins and 609 points in the 18th Filipino Badminton Association in Ahmadi (FBAA) Conference, 4th Hankook Tires Cup at the Fahaheel Sports Center, Friday. On the other hand, Hankook Tires finished 1st runners-up with 194 wins and 585 points while SK Engineering and Construction were 2nd runners-up with 192 wins and 591 points and Western Union Money Transfer settled for the bottom spot with 153 wins and 462 points.
Men’s A
In Men’s A, Hankook Tires were represented by the Black Team, Worley Parsons Resources & Energy (Blue) and SK Engineering & Construction (Red).
Blue collected 4-2 wins and 10-8 points against Black team after Albert Marcelo and JP Parayno outlasted Sherwin Felizardo and Emil Millanar 15-12, 15-17, 15-13, Francis Enriquez and Sunil Raj overcame Zahid Islam and Eduard Pascual 15-13, 17-15, Albert and Sunil outlasted Sherwin and Eduard in a seesaw battle 15-11, 12-15, 15-8 and the tandem of Tony Osea and JP Parayno pressed on the accelerator to edge Marvin de Luna and Emil Millanar 6-15, 15-12, 15-8.
Black won when Ed Antonio and Marvin overwhelmed Nikka Mae Roda and Tony 15-10, 15-12 and Ed Antonio and Zahid Islam outlasted Nikka Mae and Francis 6-15, 15-12, 15-8.
Red Team completed 4-2 wins and 11-7 points against Black as Joenel Seva and Ron Margate outlasted Sherwin and Emil 16-14, 5-15, 15-10, Jyothish PG and Gerry Labagnoy thumped Zahid and Eduard 15-9, 15-12, Joenel Seva and Gerry Labagnoy had a mouthwatering clash to edge Sherwin and Eduard 17-15, 14-16, 15-9 and Joshua Lagran and Jyothish outlasted Ed and Zahid 15-8, 12-15, 15-8.
