Fury vented on Bangladeshi caretaker
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 23: A Bangladeshi caretaker of a grocery was assaulted by a customer in front of the grocery store off Jelaia Motorway, resulting in serious injury to his head.
According to sources, the customer came out of his car and started beating the Bangladeshi. Paramedics arrived at the scene and referred the man to Adan Hospital for treatment, after the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry had been notified. The case was registered.
Youth drunk: A drunken Kuwaiti youth was sent to Hawalli police station when securitymen on patrol noticed he wasn’t in normal condition, and subsequently discovered he was heavily intoxicated.
Security sources said the youth resisted arrest and was forced into the police car. He has since been referred to the concerned authority.
Meanwhile, an Asian expatriate filed a case against two youths who attacked him in Fahaheel and took his wallet containing KD 220 cash by force. He added the culprits escaped after the attack. A case was registered against them.
