Walnut Pie
Ingredients:
single-crust 9-1/2-lnch;
2 eggs; 1/2 cup butter, melted;
1 cup light brown sugar;
1/4 cup white sugar;
1 tbsp milk;
1-1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour;
pinch of salt;
1 tsp vanilla extract;
2 cups roughly chopped walnut halves;
Method:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs with a whisk until foamy. Pour in the melted butter and whisk until mixed. Add the brown sugar, white sugar, milk, flour, salt, and vanilla; mix well. Stir in the walnuts.
Pour filling into the prepared pie shell. Bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees F, then reduce temperature to 350 degrees F. and bake until the crust in browned and filling is set.
