Personnel from the Airport Security Controls Department at the Kuwait International Airport have arrested two Malaysians, identified only as T.H. and L.L. because of their involvement in credit cards forgery, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the arrests came upon direct instructions from the airport security chief Colonel Iyad Al-Haddad. Police say securitymen have seized from the men an unidentified number of counterfeit credit cards.
The daily added Colonel Al-Haddad acting on a tip-off from highly reliable sources put the men under surveillance and caught one of the men red-handed while attempting to cheat an employee of an exchange office at the airport.
At the time of the arrest the men were in possession of fake credit cards which they had allegedly brought with them from their country.During interrogation the men are said to have confessed to the charges against them. They also said they were planning to ‘get’ more money from a bank and flee the country. They have been referred to the authorities.

Heads shaved: The Jahra police recently arrested 13 youths for causing nuisance near markets and released them after shaving their heads, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The youths were also forced to sign a pledge that they will not involve in such activities in future.

Barber in rape bid: Police are looking for an Asian barber for attempting to rape a minor girl and her brother inside his shop, reports Al-Rai daily.
The incident happened in Salmiya. According to a complaint filed with the police, the barber lured the girl and her brother into the shop and attempted to molest the girl. When the latter screamed for help, the barber ran for his life.
The father has filed a complaint with the Rumaithiya Police Station. The sponsor is said to have provided police details about the man.

Prostitutes arrested: Acting on information and armed with a search and arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, police recently raided an apartment in Hawalli and arrested five Asian prostitutes and referred them to the authorities, reports Alam Alyawm daily. The daily did not give more details.
