Visa transfer
I am an expat and I have few questions regarding my job.
1. My company brought me here last year and now I have completed one year. Can I change my job without going back to my country?
2. My family is also here, what will happen to their residence, if my employer cancels my residence and asks me to go back to my country?
3. According to the laws of Kuwait, after how many years one can change the job (one or two years).

Answer: Yes, you can change your residence without leaving the country, if you are a graduate and the sponsor agrees. Otherwise you have to wait for three years or get a new visa, leave the country and return on the new document.
Regarding your family residence, if the transfer of your residence is done locally, then nothing happens to your family’s residence. It remains the same without change. But if you resign and your residence is cancelled, your family’s residence must also be cancelled. To bring them back, you have to obtain a new family visa.
