Youth caught molesting woman at toilet’s entrance 15,951 citations issued, 993 cars impounded

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 20: A 20-year-old man was arrested for trying to molest a young woman at the entrance of the ladies restroom inside an eatery in Sharq.   
The woman told police she was about to enter the restroom when the suspect followed her and tried to molest her, so she shouted for help. This prompted one of the customers at the eatery to call the Operations Room, which quickly dispatched security officers to the location. The suspect was referred to Sharq Police Station for questioning and other necessary legal action.

Citations issued, cars impounded : As stated by Ministry of Interior, the General Traffic Department issued a total of 15,951 traffic violations against motorists and impounded 993 vehicles during Eid holiday.
According to the ministry, the Operations Room had issued 4,172 penalties for traffic violation and impounded 743 vehicles of reckless motorists breaching safety regulations in the various governorates.
In Jahra governorate, 2,228 citations were issued against motorists, while 66 vehicles were impounded to the Ministry of Interior garages.
Also, 4,320 citations were issued against motorists in Hawalli governorate, while traffic officers towed 64 cars away.
Meanwhile, in Farwaniya governorate, and the Capital, Ahmadi and Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorates, traffic men issued 541, 3240, 1100, and 350 violations and seized 59, 39, 11, and another 11 vehicles respectively.

Cheat arrested: A 26-year-old Kuwaiti wanted by law for duping an undisclosed person to the tune of KD 53,000 was arrested in Kuwait City recently.
While patrolling the area, the securitymen noticed the suspicious behavior of the Kuwaiti when he reached a checkpoint. When the security officers checked his security records, they found out he is wanted by law for his involvement in a financial case.

‘Harris’ assaulted: The watchman of a building in Jabriya got multiple injuries when an unidentified youth beat him when he refused to grant him entry.
According to the watchman, the youth wanted to see one of the tenants but when he did not allow him to enter the building, the suspect got mad and beat him. When the securitymen arrived at the scene, they discovered the youth was under the influence of alcohol.
A case was registered and he was referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.

Drugs seized: A Kuwaiti was arrested at a checkpoint in Rawda for the possession and consumption of drugs.
Securitymen noticed the suspicious behavior of the Kuwaiti when he reached the checkpoint, prompting them to search his vehicle where they found an undisclosed quantity of drugs. He was referred to Rawda Police Station for the necessary legal action.
