Female shoppers molested Fireman helps woman escape

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 15: Police are looking for an elderly person wearing dishdasha for molesting female shoppers inside a market in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, reports Al-Shahed daily.
A police source said some Kuwaiti and expatriate women complained verbally to the police on duty but refused to file written complaints.
The daily added an Egyptian woman reacted angrily when the suspect touched her and hit him with her shoes. The man escaped leaving behind his oqal.

Duo arrested in drug trafficking :Anti-narcotics officers on Monday arrested a Lebanese and an American for trading in marijuana.
Acting on a tip-off about a Lebanese drug dealer who works as a restaurant manager, Director General of the Drug Control General Department (DCGD) Major General Ahmad Al-Khalifa Al-Sabah formed a team of officers and instructed them to put the suspect under surveillance. The team later discovered the suspect also sells marijuana to some clients at the restaurant. The officers then sent an undercover agent to purchase a quarter kilogram of marijuana worth KD1,200 from the suspect, who agreed to meet the agent at the restaurant. He was arrested upon completion of the bogus transaction.
During interrogation, the Lebanese admitted the crime and guided police to his apartment in Salwa where they found some marijuana and KD5,000 in cash. He also told police that he obtained the marijuana from an American civilian worker in the US military camp.
The team arranged another entrapment and asked the Lebanese to purchase one kilo of marijuana worth KD4,500 from the American, who was arrested after receiving the marked money. The American also confessed to the crime and revealed that he usually hides marijuana in cornflakes packets to smuggle them into the country from the US. Both suspects were referred to the relevant security department for the necessary legal action.

Fireman helps woman escape: In what can be seen as strange an unidentified fireman is said to have helped a woman to escape from the scene of a traffic accident before the arrival of police, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the woman caused the accident in which two people were injured and with the help of the fireman escaped from the scene.
It has been reported the fireman was seen putting in the car booth the damaged front bumper of the woman’s car. He allegedly told the woman to drive away before the arrival of police.
The injured people were taken to a hospital in an ambulance. Police are investigating.

Couple threatened with gun: Police are looking for two people for threatening to shoot a young couple, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added the incident took place in the Mubarakiya Market. According to a complaint filed by the youth and the girl with the Salhiya Police Station both sides were involved in an argument and during the argument one of the suspects pulled out a pistol and the other a baton and drove off in a car fearing arrest.
Investigations conducted by police based on information provided by the complainants the car is registered in the name of a GCC citizen. He will be summoned for interrogation.

Mechanic insults customer: A Kuwaiti man has filed a complaint with the Shuwaikh Industrial Area Police Station accusing an unidentified garage owner of verbally abusing him and humiliating him in front of his friends, reports Al-Rai daily.
The complainant told police this happened when he took the car to the garage because it was giving trouble although he paid KD 1,500 to overhaul the engine one week earlier.
The owner of the garage refused although the job was covered by a guarantee and both men were involved in an argument.
A case has been registered.

Car thief arrested: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man who had stolen a car of an unidentified person, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. According to reports the thief was arrested while driving along a road in Salmiya.
Police ordered the man to pull over on suspicion and when they checked the car records they discovered the owner had reported the theft of the car at the Fahaheel Police Station.
In his report to the police he said he kept the car engine running and went to a shop to buy some stuff and when he returned he found the car missing.

Supply store broken into: Police are looking for unidentified persons for breaking into the supply store of a cooperative society in Ardhiya and stealing KD 200 from the cash machine and nine bags of subsidized rice, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The daily did not give more details.
