Hankook Tires show class to remain on top Worley Parsons move into 2nd place KUWAIT CITY, Nov 15: Hankook Tires retained their place at the top of the standings with 121 wins and 358 points after the 3rd week of the 18th Filipino Badminton Association in Ahmadi (FBAA) Conference, 4th Hankook Tires Cup at the Fahaheel Sports Center, Friday. Meanwhile, Worley Parsons were just behind Hankook Tires with 118 wins and 354 points while SK Engineering and Construction slide to 3rd place from 2nd last week with 115 wins and 354 points and Western Union Money Transfer stayed at the bottom with 94 wins and 280 points.
Men’s A
In Men’s A, Hankook Tires are represented by the Black Team, Worley Parsons Resources & Energy (Blue )and SK Engineering & Construction (Red).
Blue and Red tied with 3 wins each but Blue gathered 10-8 points after Francis Enriquez and Tony Osea thrashed Jyothish PG and Mike Florendo 15-9, 15-6 while JP with Sunil Raj crushed Ron Margate and Gerry Labagnoy in back to back sets 15-7, 15-17 and one game was won by default.
Red Team bounced back when Joshua Lagran and Jyothish overcame Nikka Mae Roda and Francis 15-9, 15-10, Joenel and Joshua outlasted Albert Marcelo and Nikka Mae 15-17, 15-9, 15-11 and one of the matches was won by default.
