‘Puppy love’ gets heads shaved Pledge frees juvenile

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: A Bedoun juvenile was arrested for declaring his love on the wall of his lady love’s house in Sulaibiya. 
The girl’s father filed a police complaint and added that the youth asked his daughter to call him.
Securitymen arrested the juvenile and he confessed that he managed to get the girl’s number from another girl he knew. Police shaved his head and made him write a pledge that he will never repeat such behavior.

51 Asians held: Farwaniya securitymen launc-hed an intensive inspection campaign Sunday, resulting in the arrest of 51 Asians involved in various crimes.
Security sources disclosed the team raided a number of illegal international call centers in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh during the campaign, which also led to the arrest of several Asians who operate these centers and others found to have violated the Residency Law.
Acting on information about a string of illegal call centers in the area, the securitymen rushed to the location and raided the suspected apartments. Besides arresting a number of Asians, the securitymen also confiscated sophisticated communication gadgets that the suspects use in stealing telephone lines from the Ministry of Communications and offer international call services to the expatriates at a minimal rate.
Another Asian was arrested in Jleeb with the possession of 33 bottles of local alcohol. When the security officers demanded for his identification documents, they found out he has no valid residence permit. 
The team referred all the arrested Asians to the concerned security department for prosecution.

Illegal workers nabbed: Securitymen affiliated to Kuwait International Airport arrested eight laborers for overstaying in the country during a campaign against residence law violators. The laborers were reportedly working for a cleaning company which was offering services at the airport. The laborers were referred to authorities for further action.

Man hurt in fight: A 24-year-old Lebanese man suffered fracture in his leg during a fight with another man near a famous restaurant on Saturday. Sources say both men got into a heated argument and the other man beat the victim with a stick. The suspect reportedly tried to escape, but passers-by caught him and handed him to police. A case was registered.

Car broken into: A Bedoun filed a report at Jahra Police Station, saying someone broke open the window pane of his vehicle and stole his wallet which contained KD 500. Police are investigating the case.

Generator stolen: A Kuwaiti filed a complaint at Qairawan Police Station against an unidentified person, who allegedly stole a power generator and other items from his tent Sunday.
The complainant told police he discovered the theft when he visited his tent, adding that the thief wrote his initials on a heavy vehicle parked in the area. A case was registered and investigations are in progress to arrest the suspect.

Wanted man held:
Capital securitymen arrested a man, who was wanted by law, during their patrol duty on Arabian Gulf Street and referred him to authorities. The man was involved in a drug-related case.
