KUWAIT CITY, Nov 8: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for raping a Filipino woman and assaulting her Indian husband, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
It has been reported the couple lived next to the house of the Kuwaiti man at an unidentified location and when the Kuwaiti saw the man leaving for work, he knocked at the door.
When the woman answered the door, he forced his way and raped her. The wife then called her husband and when the latter went to the house of the Kuwaiti, the rapist allegedly beat him mercilessly.
The Kuwaiti was arrested after the husband filed a complaint with the police. The man has been referred to the authorities.

Car thief caught: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti youth believed to be the brother of a prominent film actress for breaking into cars and referred him to the authorities, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to security sources he was spotted by police while parking his car on an open ground and when he saw a police car, he drove off. Police chased and arrested the youth and while checking his car found tools used by him to break into cars.

KD 20,000 stolen: Police are looking for an unidentified burglar who allegedly broke into a shop in Farwaniya and escaped with KD 20,000, reports Al-Rai daily. It has been reported the thief used a duplicate key to open the cash box.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprit. It has been reported the employees working in the shop are also being interrogated.

Wanted man held: Police have arrested a Syrian man who was wanted by law for betrayal of trust and referred him to the authorities, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Initially the man was arrested on the Sixth Ring Road while celebrating the victory of a Syrian football club over Kuwait’s Al-Qadsiya Club. He was caught for violating a traffic law and when police checked his name on computer, they found he was wanted by law.
