Public garden workers molests Arab woman Six nabbed in drug trafficking

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 8: Anti-narcotics men arrested six individuals for consuming and trafficking in drugs.
According to sources, the officers nabbed a Bedoun and a GCC national with half a kilogram of hashish, two syringes and an unspecified quantity of narcotic pills in their possession.
Another Kuwaiti citizen, and a Bedoun, were arrested for the possession of 60 narcotic pills, while two other Kuwaitis were found with eight packets of heroin, ready for consumption. The culprits have all been referred to the concerned authority for further investigation.

Worker molests woman: An Arab woman lodged a complaint with police Monday against an Arab laborer, who works at a public garden in Farwaniya, for allegedly molesting her when she took her children for a picnic in the garden. The woman provided police with a detailed description of the laborer. A case was registered and the laborer will be summoned for questioning to verify the complaint.

Asian spat on: An Asian expatriate filed a case against a Kuwaiti citizen who allegedly assaulted and spat on him in Jahra area.
The complainant narrated he became furious when the Kuwaiti teased and spat on him, so he decided to tease the citizen in return. However, the man got down from his car to beat the Asian, after which he fled the scene.
The Asian supported his claim with a medical report showing bruises he sustained as a result of beating. Also, he provided securitymen with registration number of the citizen’s car. The case was registered for investigation.

Kuwaiti duo held: Securitymen on Monday arrested two Kuwaitis for trafficking in drugs.
Acting on information that a Kuwaiti is trading in drugs and rented a flat in Mahboula to use it as storage for the drugs, the security officers obtained a search and arrest warrant from the Public Prosecution before raiding the flat. When the officers arrived at the flat, they found the suspect with a compatriot. Police also searched the flat until they discovered an undisclosed quantity of heroin and 80 narcotic pills.
During interrogation, the suspects admitted the crime and told police that they are also consuming drugs. They were referred to the relevant security department for the necessary legal action.
Meanwhile, security operatives from Farwaniya apprehended an expatriate in possession of drug related tools at a checkpoint in Ferdous area.
Sources said the men observed the suspect was acting weird as he approached the checkpoint, which prompted them to conduct a search inside his vehicle and the tools were discovered. He was referred to the relevant authority for necessary action.

Kabad pen robbed:  A Kuwaiti filed a complaint Monday at Kabad Police Station against some unidentified persons, who allegedly stole electric equipment worth KD 1,000 from his animal pen in Kabad.
The complainant told police he noticed the door of his animal pen was broken, so he immediately checked the contents.  To his dismay, he discovered the thieves carted away some electric equipment worth KD1,000. 
Criminal Evidence Department personnel later arrived at the scene and lifted fingerprints to identify the thieves.  A case was registered and investigations are in progress to arrest the suspects.

Eve-teasers held: Securitymen, acting on complaints that many people were loitering in front of the Business Studies College for Girls in Hawalli, surrounded the area and arrested five people. Sources say suitable action will be taken against them.
