Expatriate woman abducted, raped for week Co-op cashier seduces Asian woman customer

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 6: An expatriate woman filed a complaint at Farwaniya Police Station accusing her ex-husband of kidnapping her, locking her in his apartment for a week and having forced sex with her several times, reports Al-Rai daily.
The complainant said when she was walking along a street, her ex-husband and his friend bundled her in a car and took her to her ex-husband’s flat where she was kept behind locked doors for a week. She mentioned that her former husband raped her several times during this period.
The complainant managed to escape and sought help of passers- by who helped her in reaching the police station. It is reported that the woman’s family had earlier filed a missing person’s report on her.
Police are now looking for the ex-husband.

Crazy cashier: A woman filed a police complaint accusing a cashier at a cooperative branch in Salmiya of urging her to commit indecent acts, reports Al-Rai daily.
The woman who works at a beauty salon said whenever she went to pay for her purchases, the employee tried to give her his telephone number and asked her to call him after midnight.
Police have noted down the suspect’s phone number and will summon him for questioning.

Drunk driving: Ahmadi police arrested a young Kuwaiti man for driving under the influence of alcohol and crashing into a number of vehicles in the parking area of a well-known shopping mall in Mangaf, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The drunkard was referred to authorities.

Free-for-all: Eight Bedoun youngsters got involved in a physical fight in front of a cars showroom in Al-Rai and sources say some of them sustained minor injuries, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. Acting on information, paramedics and police rushed to the scene, say sources, adding “after the injured persons were given first aid, they were all referred to police station.”

Drugs seized: Police arrested two Kuwaitis for consuming and possessing drugs, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
A police patrol on routine duty in Mubarak Al-Kabeer suspected two youngsters who were trying to park their car beside an electrical transformer and appeared nervous when police approached and demanded their identification documents. While talking to them, policemen realized that the youths were disoriented and on checking their car, found sachets of heroin and 12 narcotic pills.

Youth wanted: Ahmadi police arrested a youngster who was wanted by law for serving a three year jail term in a drug-related case, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The youth was driving at a very high speed and had ignored all instructions to stop. Consequently, police gave him a chase which came to an end when the youth lost control on his vehicle and it overturned. The suspect was not injured, however. Police found syringes with heroin inside the car and on checking records, learnt about his wanted status.

Chasing a bird?: A high school teacher was referred to State Security after he climbed a fence in the perimeter of Kuwait International Airport and entered a restricted area, reports Al-Rai daily. The teacher, who was spotted by cameras, claimed that he was trying to retrieve his bird which had escaped from its cage.
