Doctors in forgery probe

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 3: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health has ordered to open an investigation into allegations that a large number of doctors are involved in forging documents concerning overseas medical treatment, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added if doctors are found guilty they will be referred to the Public Prosecution.

Police hunt mall thief: The Farwaniya police are looking for an unidentified thief who managed to sneak into one of the commercial complexes and escaped with KD 20,000 from one of the shops, reports Al-Anba daily.
A security source said that the CCTV cameras installed in the compound of the complex have captured the glimpses of the man entering and leaving the compound.
The source pointed out the thief was wearing a mask because he was aware the complex is monitored by cameras.
According to sources the thief seems to be a young man and is believed to be in his twenties. He allegedly parked his car in the parking lot of the complex, got out wearing a mask, went to the entrance and sneaked into the basement, broke the door and stole the money from the safe.

Woman’s death probed: The remains of an unidentified elderly woman have been referred to Forensics to identify the cause of death, reports Al-Rai daily. According to reports the victim was taken to the Al-Sabah Hospital when she became ill. However, doctors at the hospital declared her dead upon arrival. The daily did not give more details.

Cops get cross-dressers: Security guards manning the Entertainment City gates in Doha are said to have arrested three cross-dressers for attempting to enter the premises on ‘Women Only’ day, reports Al-Anba daily.
It has been reported the guards on suspicion requested the suspects to show their ID and the latter appeared confused. The guards then summoned the cops and handed them over to the authorities.

‘Unfit’ for job: A transvestite, whose identity has not been disclosed, has been appointed to work at one of the departments of the Kuwait University upon a recommendation of a senior official, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The daily without going into details and quoting reliable sources said the new appointee is not qualified and unfit for the position.
