KUWAIT CITY, Oct 29: After shooting to death a Kuwaiti man who is believed to be in his 50s, his friend — working for the Intelligence Department of the Kuwait Army — is said to have surrendered to police, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
According to reports the suspect initially escaped from the scene of the crime in Farwaniya after committing the murder.
When the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior received a report on the incident personnel from the crime branch were dispatched to the area and they found the man lying in a pool of blood in front of his home.
As the search for the killer intensified, the alleged murdered reportedly surrendered without incident.
Police records show the men were involved in a dispute way back and the CID men believe the old dispute might have led to the death of the man.
The man was allegedly shot to death by a service revolver. The victim’s body has been referred to Forensics.
Police are interrogating the ‘murderer’.
