Is it possible to convert the visit visa of my wife into a dependent visa? She is already in the country. If so, does she need to go out of the country?

Answer: No, you can’t. Visit visas of only infants can be changed without leaving the country. You can, however, apply for a dependent visa for your wife if you have a monthly salary of at least KD250/-. Once you get the visa she will have to leave the country and return on the dependent visa.
