Markaz Golden Sponsor for 2nd Kuwait Financial Forum

Kuwait Financial Centre S.A.K. “Markaz”, one of the Middle East’s leading investment banking and asset management companies, announced that it is a golden sponsor for The Kuwait Financial Forum under the patronage of HH Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, The Prime Minister of Kuwait. The Forum will be held on Oct 31 - Nov 1, 2010 at Sheraton Kuwait.

The Forum, which is organized by Al Iktissad Wa Aamal Group in cooperation with The Central Bank of Kuwait and Kuwait Banking Association, will discuss the continuing repercussions of the international financial crisis and controversies about the nature and extent of the required financial and banking reforms and their implications for the Arab economies.

On this occasion, Mariam Al Suwailem, Assistant Manager, Media & Communication Department, “Markaz” said “Following on the success of last year’s forum, and given the support it receives from major governmental institutions headed by Central Bank of Kuwait and Kuwait Banking Association, the forum is expected to attract the participation of heads and executive managers of most banks and financial institutions in the Arab world, as well international banks active in the region, Islamic banks, central bank governors, economists and banking experts.”

Al Suwailem added “Main topics on the Forum’s agenda will include the near term prospects in the global economy, main issues and challenges in the Arab economies, Requirements and priorities for reforming the international financial system, Investment prospects and opportunities in Arab financial markets, Kuwaiti’s new economic development plan and its meanings for investment opportunities in the country.”
There will also be an exhibition featuring all the main sponsors, where “Markaz” team will be present to answer queries and provide all the information on the company, its products and services, and the promising investment opportunities.
