Complaint against Cop for molesting mentally disabled girl Kuwait asks Interpol to arrest 115 wanted in criminal, other cases

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 24: Kuwait has requested Interpol to arrest 115 individuals who are wanted by law in many criminal and State security cases “and these include Kuwaitis as well as people of other nationalities,” Al-Rai daily quoted Chairman of Sentence Enforcement Affairs, Prosecution and International Cooperation Mohammed Rashid Al-Duaij as saying.
Al-Duaij said all the 115 individuals are fugitives and are wanted for crimes committed during 2009-2010 period. He added that Kuwait is one of the few countries which does not give asylum to political fugitives of other countries.

Complaint against cop: An elderly Kuwaiti man filed a complaint against a policeman, accusing the latter of punching him in the eye and touching the private parts of his mentally disabled daughter, reports Al-Anba daily.
The girl was reportedly behaving in a strange manner and was trying to commit suicide at a well-known shopping complex. Acting on information, police rushed to the place and managed to control the situation. The complainant said he asked a policeman not to take his daughter to police station as she is suffering from psychological problems and tried to take away his daughter from the place. The suspect then allegedly punched him in the eye and touched his daughter’s private parts.  A case was registered and the policeman is being interrogated.

Hoax caller held
: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man, 32, who had earlier made 14 hoax calls, reports Al-Anba daily. A police source said a Kuwaiti woman lodged a complaint against an unknown person accusing him of inciting her to do an immoral act. Police conducted intensive investigations for one week and discovered that the mobile phone was registered on the name of a Central Prison inmate.
When the inmate denied having knowledge of the phone, securitymen followed up all incoming and outgoing calls and managed to identify the location of the caller and arrested him although he sped up on sensing the presence of police. In fact, he was forced to stop after he crashed into a parked car.
Police then found that the man had earlier disturbed police by making 14 hoax calls about fires, bombs and murders.
