Al-Zebin said in a press statement after the opening of the 7th forum of employment opportunities by State Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Rawdhan Abdulaziz Al-Rawdhan that such events come in compliance with the desire of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, in his words: The wealth of Kuwait is in its children, a wealth that is not equivalent to any other, they are pillars of the future, and the hope of the nation, and they must arm themselves with weapons of knowledge and education in an age of information revolution, in which nations are racing to take their place in the march of progress.
Al-Zebin stressed that the real goal in supporting work in the private sector and the provision of job opportunities for graduates lies in the investment of human capital, which is the real wealth of Kuwait.
“We find the process of developing the youth of Kuwait is the process of developing the national economy and society in general,” he added.
On the occasion Khamees Al-Ajmi, Chief Executive for Vision Group spoke on the importance of youth awareness. “We insured in Vision to make this event one that works to educate young people of the national advantages of working in the private sector and the needs of companies. The forum of employment opportunities is a direct communication channel between the companies in Kuwait’s labor market and individuals searching for work. This takes place through the participation of the most important and most prominent national companies and the presence of representatives from the Department of Human Resources of those companies to help visitors to the exhibition find appropriate vacancies available to them,” Al-Ajmi.

He pointed out that Wataniya Telecom is one of the biggest private sector companies which employs a large number of Kuwaiti citizens because of the added value it brings to the field of economic activities — telecommunications in particular.
Al-Ghannam explained that the forum for career opportunities represents an important opportunity for dialogue between job-seekers and employers, while expressing his confidence that the forum achieves another success added to their record in the last few years by increasing the demand for researchers, career opportunities, as well as broadening the participation, which means increasing opportunities for youth in Kuwait.

Al-Ablani said that the participation comes within the framework of the bank’s keenness to attract national cadres that have ambitious and functional compatibilities with the aspirations of the bank, which is one of the most important banks in the Middle East.
“The 7th forum career opportunities are vital for talented youth to benefit in meeting with employers under one roof while identifying the needs of the labor market.”
Al-Ablani also added that the private sector has attracted more young people after they had been in a state of abstinence at the time because of the absence of job security compared to the public sector, pointing out that the Kuwaiti youth of both sexes have got a lot of confidence in the private sector after the great successes achieved by young people who went to work in the sector in recent years, pointing out that the success stories of many of these enhanced confidence in companies and organizations of the private sector, which is now a choice for a large segment of young people.
The Forum is organized by Vision Group, sponsored by MGRP (Manpower & Government Restructuring Program) and is open from Oct 24 through Oct 26, 2010 at Arraya Ballroom, Marriott Courtyard.
