‘Caretaker’ admits killing Filipina ‘Killer’ confesses affair with victim
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 23: The Egyptian caretaker (harris) of Hall No. 5 at the Kuwait International Fair Grounds in Mishref has been arrested for the murder of 33-year-old Jenny Dechosa whose decomposed remains were found on the roof of the hall on Oct 16th.
Ahmadi securitymen managed to find the suspect based on the victim’s mobile phone records, and he is said to have admitted committing the crime. He reportedly confessed that he had an affair with the victim and that on the fateful day, he hit her with a metal rod on her head and killed her. He added that he continued to work at the premises until the body was found.
The victim’s remains were found hidden between air-conditioning units on the roof of the hall. Dechosa, 33, is married, has kids and hailed from Cebu City, Philippines. She was working at a salon in Salmiya and went missing on Oct 10. She was last seen at a shopping mall in Salmiya where her driver had dropped her. Dechosa’s housemates had notified her sponsor about her disappearance and the latter had filed a report.
Five days after Jenny’s disappearance, police found the decomposed remains of the Filipina and local dailies reported the incident the next day.
