Bedoun criminal shot in neck, abdomen Domestic worker in suicide bid

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 22: A Bedoun man was found un-conscious in a pool of blood inside a car along the Kabad Motorway. Appar-ently, the man was shot in the neck and abdomen, and then left to die when securitymen on patrol rescued him.
According to sources, the officers were surprised to see the victim in that condition and requested for ambulance immediately, and he was referred to the Farwaniya hospital for treatment.
Later, they discovered the victim has been involved in several criminal and drug related cases. Police are waiting for his condition to improve to begin investigations. The case was registered.

Ex-brother-in-law shot at: Personnel from the Jahra Criminal Investigation Department are said to be looking for a citizen for allegedly shooting at his ex-brother in-law on Thursday. The incident occurred in Sulaibiya, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to a complaint filed by the victim he recently married and divorced the suspect’s sister for unspecified reasons.
He added, since then the ex-wife’s brother has been pestering him and Thursday he saw the suspect seated in a car near his home. When he stepped out of the house to see what the man wanted, the latter allegedly opened fire and escaped. Luckily the bullets missed to hit him.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department are said to have picked four bullet shells from the scene of the crime.
A case of possessing an unlicensed gun and ammunition and a murder charge has been registered against the suspect.

Domestic helper in suicide bid: An Asian domestic worker tried to commit suicide by drinking insecticide inside his sponsor’s residence in Doha area.
Acting on information, securitymen in the company of paramedics rushed to the scene, and the man was referred to the Sabah hospital for medical care. The sponsor said he decided to deport the worker. A few hours later, he found the man unconscious with insecticide beside him. A case was registered against him.

Two injured in fight:  A Kuwaiti citizen and an Egyptian expatriate sustained various degrees of injuries as they exchanged blows in public.
Passersby reportedly placed a call to the Operations Room to report the episode, while securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene to maintain order. Upon arrival, paramedics referred the two injured men to the Farwaniya hospital for treatment. The case was registered in Farwaniya police station.

Machine worth KD 480 stolen: A Kuwaiti citizen, about 42 years old, filed a case in Andalous police station against thieves who stole machine worth KD 480 from his home. Criminal Evidences personnel went to the place and lifted fingerprints to trail the thieves. The case was registered for investigation.
