KUWAIT CITY, Oct 14:  An Asian man committed suicide inside his room in a residential building in Fahaheel Thursday.   
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene after receiving a call from the Asian’s flat mates, who found him lying unconscious in his room.  However, he was already dead when they arrived at the scene.  His remains were referred to Forensics.
Initial investigations revealed the Asian had been experiencing psychological problems, which might have prompted him to end his own life.

‘Mandoob’ turns sponsor: A Kuwaiti on Thursday filed a complaint at Fahaheel Police Station against his ‘mandoob’ (company representative), who allegedly applied for 14 visas under his company without his knowledge.
The Kuwaiti told police he was surprised when he discovered 14 new employees registered under his company, since he has not recruited any of them.  He later discovered the ‘mandoob’ applied for the visa of the workers without his knowledge.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to verify the complaint.

Iranian robbed: An Iranian on Thursday filed a complaint with police against three unidentified young men, who allegedly beat him and stole KD 1,000 from him in Amghara.
The Iranian told police he was surprised when a pickup truck suddenly stopped beside him while he was walking in the area. The three youths, who were inside the truck, then beat him and took KD 1,000 cash from him.  He provided police with a medical certificate to substantiate his claim.
A case was registered and investigations are underway to arrest the suspects.

Thieves caught: Securitymen arrested three Asian cleaners Thursday for trying to steal aluminum doors in Abdally border.
While on duty in the area, police noticed three Asian cleaners trying to steal some aluminum doors in the border. They were referred to Qashaniya Police Station where they admitted the crime.

3 hurt in fight: Two groups of youths engaged in a fistfight in Thaher recently, causing injuries to three of them.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Room received information from passersby, who witnessed the brawl.  When they arrived at the location, most of the youths fled, leaving the three injured behind.  Paramedics took the injured to Adan and Mubarak Al-Kabeer hospitals.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the other youths.

Egyptian injured:  An Egyptian suffered from injuries in different parts of their body after engaging in a public brawl with a compatriot in front of a grocery shop in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Wednesday.
The Operations Room at the Ministry of Interior dispatched a team of securitymen to the location after receiving information on the fight.  Paramedics also arrived at the scene and took the injured to Farwaniya Hospital, while the security officers referred the other Egyptian to a nearby police station for questioning.
In an unrelated incident, a Nepalese was also rushed to Farwaniya Hospital as he sustained multiple injuries after engaging in a fistfight with his compatriot in Omariya.

Cross-dresser held: Police arrested a young cross-dresser in Fahaheel Wednesday. While patrolling the area, police noticed the suspicious movement of a veiled young woman, so they stopped her for inspection. However, when she presented her identification documents, they discovered she was actually a young man clad in women’s clothes.  He was referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.
