KUWAIT CITY, Oct 12: Police have taken into custody an unidentified man for stabbing his wife six times inside their home in Mubarak Al-Kabir, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Acting on information paramedics and police rushed to the house and rushed and found the woman lying on the floor of the sitting room in a pool of blood.
She has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Farwaniya Hospital.
According to initial reports, the couple, whose nationality has not been disclosed, was involved in an argument and the husband lost self control and stabbed the wife.
The knife with which the husband allegedly stabbed his wife has been seized by police.

‘I want divorce’: A Kuwaiti woman, 41, filed a case at Andalous Police Station accusing her husband of beating her and submitted a medical report to support her claim.
She added that they had a quarrel which went out of control and the husband started beating her. Sources say the woman wanted securitymen to help her get divorced from her husband. Securitymen will summon the husband for investigations.

‘Killer’ nabbed: The Farwaniya police have arrested a hit-and-run Kuwaiti motorist for running over and killing an Egyptian man while the latter was crossing a road in Farwaniya, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The man was arrested after passersby provided police with the description of the car. The daily added it took police one hour to hunt the man. According to eyewitness reports the victim died on the spot. During interrogation at a police station the suspect said he could not avoid hitting the victim.
