Kuwaiti gang arrested for stealing, stripping elite cars, selling parts Five Iraqis arrested fishing in Kuwait territorial waters, boats seized

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 10: A Kuwaiti lodged a complaint at Wafra Police Station Saturday against unidentified persons, who allegedly broke into his chalet and carted away with valuable items worth KD 4,000.
The Kuwaiti told police he was surprised to find the contents of his chalet in disarray when he returned from his farm. When he checked the whole chalet, he discovered some valuable items worth KD 4,000 were missing. He immediately reported the incident and the Criminal Evidence Department personnel later lifted fingerprints to identify the suspects.
A case was registered and investigations are underway to arrest the culprits.

Asian in suicide bid: An Asian tried to commit suicide Saturday by drinking a pesticide in the house of his sponsor in Sulaibikhat.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene after receiving information on an Asian, who was found lying unconscious inside the house of his sponsor with an empty bottle of pesticide near him.  He was taken to Sabah Hospital.
A case was registered and investigations are in progress to determine the actual circumstances that prompted the Asian to try to end his own life.

Five Iraqis arrested fishing in Kuwait territorial waters, boats seized:  Interior Ministry personnel have seized two boats with five Iraqi fisherman fishing in the national territorial waters, the ministry said in a statement released on Sunday. Major General Sheikh Mohammed Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, the Assistant Undersecretary for the Border Security Affairs, oversaw the operation, in person, aboard an amphibious helicopter that combed the national waters from the dock of the Coastal Guards to the southern regions. Maj Gen Mohammed Al-Yousef also inspected conditions on the islands of Kubbar and Garu, before proceeding to other locations, scouring the coastal area stretching from Al-Fintas to Kuwait Bay. Legal measures have been taken against the five Iraqis, the ministry statement said without elaborating. It did not say when the incident took place.
