Large quantity of spoilt meat seized from top restaurant Police hunt three for robbing Asian grocer
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: Personnel from the Jahra Municipality recently raided a well-known restaurant in the area and confiscated large quantities of meat believed to be unfit for human consumption in addition to meat of dead animals particularly sheep, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to a knowledgeable source it was a well planned raid because the Municipality officials raided the restaurant through the back and front doors simultaneously to prevent the staff from moving away spoiled meat.
The workers said they added more spices to the cooked meat to prevent bad odor. The restaurant has been administratively sealed.
3 rob grocery store: Police are looking for three unidentified persons for robbing an Asian grocer in Wafra, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The robbers allegedly broke into the shop, stole KD 120 cash, the man’s cell phone, prepaid telephone cards, packets of cigarettes and whatever they could lay their hands on and severely beat the man because he resisted.
Then they bundled him in their vehicle and drove to a desert area and kicked the man out of the car.
