Five Kuwaitis cheat Iraqi man of KD 7,000 Police nab citizen for issuing dud cheques worth KD 1,025m

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 27: An Iraqi man has filed a complaint with the Salhiya Police Station accusing five Kuwaitis of cheating him. The men reportedly bought a piece of antique from the man for KD 7,000 and are refusing to pay the money, reports Al-Dar daily.
It has been reported the Kuwaitis disappeared after signing a promissory note to pay the money in a ‘few days’.

KD 1,025m dud cheques issued: The Hawalli police have arrested a Kuwaiti man who had been sentenced in absentia for issuing dud cheques worth KD 1,025 million in addition to four civil cases, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The man was taken into custody while walking along a road in Hawalli. At the time of his arrest he was reportedly disoriented and fumbled when police asked for his ID.

Expat held for financial fraud:
Securitymen arrested an Asian expatriate, who was wanted by law in a financial fraud case and was sentenced to four years imprisonment, in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area Sunday evening.
Reportedly, patrols on routine duty saw the man walking at a very late hour and asked for his identification. Subsequently, they checked records and came to know of his wanted status. They then duly arrested the suspect and referred him to authorities.

Police arrest wanted man
: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man who had been sentenced in absentia to 10 years imprisonment in connection with 10 felony charges, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
He was arrested in Hawalli for violating traffic law and police discovered he was wanted by law.
He has been handed over to the Sentences Enforcement Department.

Medicines missing from hospital: Medicines and related substances including anesthetics are said to have gone missing from the stores of the Amiri Hospital, reports Al-Dar daily quoting knowledgeable sources.
According to reports the hospital authorities are running an inventory of the stock following which people in charge of the stores will be subjected for interrogation.
