Peas and tomato soup
Ingredients:
1/2 cup green peas, shelled
1/2 cup lima beans, shelled
4 tomatoes, chopped
1 onion, small, peeled and chopped
5 cups water
1 tablespoon butter
Seasonings to taste
Method: Put all ingredients in a kettle or stew pot. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and let cook slowly for about 45 minutes.
