KUWAIT CITY, Sept 21: Police have arrested two national guardsmen for kidnapping and raping a runaway Asian housemaid, reports Al-Rai daily.

In her complaint to the police, the victim said this happened when she escaped from her sponsor in Abu Halifah and the two men offered to take her to her country’s embassy but instead they drove her to a stable in Mina Abdullah and raped her successively and drove off.
The suspects were arrested after the maid provided police the information about the car.
The victim also picked up the suspects from the legal lineup. They have been referred to the Public Prosecution.

Woman delivers illegit baby: A 30-year old woman was referred to the Shuwaikh police station, after she delivered an illegitimate baby. The woman claimed that two youths had kidnapped and raped her nine months earlier, which resulted in the pregnancy. The case has since been registered for investigation.

Boyfriend ‘beats’ girl: A 22-year-old woman sustained injuries in different parts of her body after her boyfriend allegedly beat her at a parking area in Kaifan.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after receiving a call from an eyewitness, who saw the young lovers fighting inside a vehicle in Kaifan. They referred the young woman to Amiri Hospital.
During interrogation, the witnesses told police the lovers were having a heated argument, and then the young man got out of the car, pulled the woman’s hair, beat her, pushed her to the ground and tried to hit her with his vehicle. He then left the young woman writhing in pain.
When police questioned the woman, she said she does not know the man, who allegedly knocked her down with his vehicle deliberately.
However, when the man was summoned for questioning, he told police that the woman is his lover. He also denied accusations that he hit her with his vehicle. He was referred to the relevant security department for further investigation and other necessary legal action.

Maid ‘consumes’ insecticide: An Asian maid is said to have consumed insecticide, after she engaged in a quarrel with her sponsor in Andalous area.
Acting on information, securitymen accompanied paramedics to the scene, and the woman was referred to the Farwaniya Hospital for medical care. A case was registered against her.

Police rushed to the society after receiving a call from a female cleaning worker who said ‘someone’ was inside the society.
