Ethiopian and an Asian women rescued from vice den Police storm into Jleeb apartment
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 20: The Farwaniya police have rescued two women — an Ethiopian and an Asian — from an apartment in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The women were allegedly kidnapped by an unidentified person and sold to a pimp who then pushed them into prostitution.
The raid came following a complaint filed by the sister of the Ethiopian at the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station.
In her complaint to the police source the woman said she received a call from her sister who claimed to have been kidnapped and forced into prostitution.
Police managed to identify the place where the two women were being held and stormed the apartment and freed the women.
However, the daily did not say if the pimp has been arrested.
