Indian leaves Kuwait with company’s KD 30,000
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 20: A Kuwaiti man has filed a complaint with the police accusing his Indian secretary of betrayal of trust, reports Al-Anba daily.
In his complaint the Kuwaiti said he gave the secretary KD 30,000 to deposit in the company account and the suspect reportedly left the country within one hour.
The case has been handed over to the Kuwaiti Interpol.
Indian found dead in garage: A 46-year-old Indian was found dead inside a garage in Salmiya recently.
Security sources revealed the victim’s friend was shocked when he went to the garage early morning Sunday as he found him lying unconscious on the floor. The friend immediately informed the Operations Room, which dispatched police officers and paramedics to the location. Upon arrival at the scene, the paramedics confirmed the Indian was already dead, so they referred his remains to Forensics to determine the actual cause of death.
Woman dies in fall: A 35-year-old Asian woman died Saturday when she fell from a building in Abu Halifa.
The Operations Room at the Ministry of Interior dispatched a team of securitymen and medical emergency personnel to the area after receiving information on the incident. However, the woman already succumbed to her wounds when the rescue officers arrived at the location. Her remains were referred to Forensics.
A case was registered and investigations are in progress to unravel the mystery behind the woman’s death.
MP’s brother violates law: Police are said to have issued many citations against the brother of a Member of Parliament and impounded his car, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
It has been reported the man, because he is the brother of an MP can take the law in his hands and was caught driving the vehicle without car registration documents. He also reportedly did not have his driving license with him when he was confronted by the cops.
It has also been reported the car violated the road safety regulations because the car tyres were worn out and the outward condition of the car was bad. To add insult to injury the car did not carry the number plate.
