KUWAIT CITY, Sept 17: A 19-year-old Kuwaiti was stabbed when he engaged in a fight with three other juveniles in Oyoun-Jahra.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene when a passerby notified the Operations Room about the incident, and paramedics carried the injured youth to the Jahra Hospital for medical care.
Security sources said the other fighters fled the scene at the sight of police, but the case has been registered for investigation to arrest them.

‘Hoax’ bomb call at mall: Security forces, accompanied by paramedics, firefighters and experts in explosives were dispatched to a famous commercial complex in Salmiya late at night, after the Operations Room received a call about a bomb being discovered there.
Upon arrival, the team is said to have evacuated visitors from the complex, as they used dogs and bomb detection device to search for the alleged explosive. After hours of searching, the officers realized the call was a hoax.
Sources noted the call was received when the shops were about closing, and police have started investigation to trail the phone number of the woman who placed the call to the Operations Room.

Filipina attempts suicide: A Filipina tried in vain to kill herself by consuming a pesticide in Rihab area Thursday evening after a heated argument with her sponsor. 
When the Operations Room received information about the incident, it dispatched securitymen and paramedics to the scene and they rushed the woman to Farwaniya Hospital.
A case of attempted suicide was registered against the woman.

KD 400 withdrawn from bank: A Kuwaiti man filed a report at Fahaheel Police Station, saying someone had withdrawn KD 400 from his bank account Thursday evening.
The complainant said he lost his wallet in the area and within a few hours, he got a text message from the bank saying the said sum was withdrawn. The Kuwaiti got his bank card cancelled.
Securitymen are now looking for the thief.
