Security forces stop illegal seminar Heavy security presence in Jahra to prevent chaos

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 17: Security forces imposed a siege around the area where a seminar was taking place, opposite the Al-Jahra Exchange, while the Northern Al-Jahra police station was surrounded by several vehicles of the private forces to deal with possible riots.
Forces from the Ministry of Interior removed the tent and called the office that erected it. There was heavy security with officers from the General Security Department, Criminal Investigations, Rescue, State Security and Traffic officers.

Assistant Undersecretary for Operations, Major General Mustafa Al Za’abi and Assistant Undersecretary for General Security Affairs, Major General Khaleel Al Shimali were present, alongside the Jahra Security Administration Manager Brigadier General Mohammad Tanna, and the Security leadership in Jahra governorate.

The location of the seminar was similar to a military barrack due to the heavy security presence, whereas the Northern Jahra police station, located around 500 meters away from venue of the seminar, was witness to private forces and other teams to control and prevent riots.
Security sources revealed the Ministry of Interior has activated the warning it issued earlier against holding any symposia on the national unity to prevent chaos, affirming that legal action will be taken against anyone breaking the law.
