140-kg ‘unfit’ fish, meat destroyed Eight injured in traffic accidents During a surprise inspection campaign at the meat and fish market in Mubarakiya, personnel from the Kuwait Municipality are said to have destroyed 140 kilos of fish and meat because it was unfit for human consumption, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The inspectors have also issued 38 citations to vendors for violating the hygiene rules.
Eight injured in traffic accidents : Several road accidents were reported Wednesday in different parts of the country, causing injuries to a number of motorists. A Kuwaiti, in his 20s, suffered from injuries in various parts of his body when his vehicle somersaulted on King Fahad Motorway near Hadiya. He was taken to Adan Hospital. A two-vehicle collision on Fahaheel Motorway caused injuries to two Kuwaiti teenagers, 18 and 19 years old respectively. They were admitted to Adan Hospital.
A 39-year-old Indian sustained head injuries when a speeding vehicle knocked him down on the Fourth Ring Road. He was referred to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital.
Two Kuwaitis got multiple injuries when the vehicle they were riding flipped over on Al-Taawoun Street, opposite Salwa. They are now confined at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital.
