KUWAIT CITY, Sept 7, (KUNA): The Amiri Diwan on Tuesday conveyed to the citizens and residents of Kuwait the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. The Amiri Diwan also conveyed to His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah congratulations on the occasion of the Eid.

It also conveyed congratulations to the citizens and residents of Kuwait, wishing the Arab and Islamic nations a happy Eid. The Amiri Diwan expressed hope that the world will enjoy security and peace with prayers to Allah to protect Kuwait and its people.

Meanwhile, the Civil Services Commission (CSC) said Eid Al-Fitr holiday will last for four days whether the Eid starts on Thursday or Friday. If Thursday is the first day of Eid Al-Fitr then the holiday will end on Sunday and Monday will be the official working day, the CSC said in a statement. However, it added, if Eid starts on Friday then the holiday will end on Monday. CSC said bodies with special working hours should determine how to treat their employees during the holiday.
