KUWAIT CITY, Sept 5: An unidentified cop has been arrested for forcing his way into apartments in Farwaniya and raping Asian women, reports Al-Anba daily. According to security sources the arrest came when the caretaker of one building informed a tenant who is believed to be a police officer. The officer then set a trap for the man and caught him red-handed. At the time of the arrest he was wearing a police uniform.
Senior officials of the Interior Ministry have demanded stern action against the rapist.

Duo in sex escapade: Police have arrested a 41-year-old GCC man. He was caught having sex with an Asian prostitute inside an apartment in Khaitan, reports Al-Shahed daily.
It has been reported the arrest came following a police raid acting on a tip-off from a police mole.
The man and the prostitute have been referred them to the authorities.

35 harassing women: The Hawalli police have arrested 35 youths for harassing young women inside a shopping complex in Salmiya, reports Al-Rai daily. All those arrested have been referred to the area police station.

Man goes haywire: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for consuming alcohol, possessing unlicensed gun and ammunition and setting fire to the car of his Iraqi wife and threatening to kill her, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to reports the man went to the house of his wife in Mahboula armed with a Kalashnikov rifle and threatened to kill her. He then set fire to her car and escaped. The fire was put out by firemen.

Cannot trust mother: A young woman has filed a complaint with the Taima Police Station accusing her mother of betrayal of trust, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The complainant said she gave her mother KD 8,000 for safe keeping. This money she had collected for her wedding and now the mother is refusing to give back the money.

Phones with inmates: The Central Prison Administration launched a surprise inspection campaign and confiscated 16 cell phones, including iPhones, from inmates serving jail terms for drug-related crimes, reports Al-Anba daily.
The inmates will be interrogated to find out how they got hold of these items, said sources.
