Bangladeshi Thief Pulled From Garbage Bin
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 2: After a thrilling hunt befitting a movie scene which lasted for 30 minutes the Jahra police finally arrested a Bangladeshi thief who was caught hiding inside a garbage bin after breaking into the car of a Kuwaiti man which was parked in the parking lot of the Al-Qairawan Cooperative Society and stealing KD 1,500, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to a security source a Kuwaiti man saw the Bangladeshi breaking into the car and he and some passersby gave a chase but failed to find him.
After the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior was informed of the incident police were dispatched to the area and they threw a cordon around the scene of the crime and pulled the thief from the garbage bin.
Police have seized from the man the stolen money, a bunch of duplicate keys and sharp tools. He has been referred to the Jahra Investigation Department for interrogation.
