KUWAIT CITY, Sept 1: Lawmakers praised the warm and wise way HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah addressed the nation Wednesday on the occasion of the last 10 days of the holy month of Ramadan.

Lawmaker Khaled Al-Adwa said the Amir, through his speech, put the government, executive authorities and media channels in their rightful places, urging them to shoulder their responsibilities.  He called on the citizens to follow the Amir’s directives.

Al-Adwa also rejected any attempt to misuse the media and the freedom of speech granted to citizens, since this only leads to sectarian conflicts and undermines national unity.  He stressed the need to immediately stop discriminatory acts.
