Webcam ‘love'; Child molestor caught
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 31: Police are looking for a bedoun employee of the Ministry of Defense for blackmailing an unidentified woman by threatening to post her pictures on an Internet website, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
In her complaint to the Sulaibikhat Police Station, the woman said she was in love with the man before her marriage and at that time he had taken her pictures during a webcam session.
The woman added now the ex-lover is demanding money from her and when she refused, he began blackmailing her. To get rid of him she parted with her jewelry, but he continues asking for more money.
Child molestor caught: Police have arrested a GCC citizen before he could escape from the country for attempting to rape a female minor, reports Al-Rai daily. The man was caught at the Salmi border post.
A police source said the girl was sent to buy some foodstuff and the mother became worried when she failed to return home. She immediately informed the Sulaibikhat Police Station and the cops found the girl after a two-hour search.
During interrogation the girl told police a GCC man forced her to get into his car and that she escaped from the vehicle when he stopped at a red traffic light.
The girl also provided police with detailed information about the suspect and the car which led to his arrest before he could leave the country. He has been referred for interrogation.
Maid stabbed: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti woman for stabbing her housemaid in the shoulder, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The arrest came when the maid was rushed to the Jahra Hospital for treatment and she told the police investigator of the hospital that she had been stabbed by her female employer.
A case of attempt to murder been registered at the Jahra Police Station.
Juvenile in stabbing: Police have arrested a juvenile for stabbing an Iranian _worker inside _a restaurant in Al-Zahr, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The daily quoting security sources said police were dispatched to the area when the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior received a call from an unidentified person and caught the suspect. The Iranian, who was stabbed once in the chest, was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Adan Hospital. The suspect has been arrested and detained at a police station.
