Maid, Egyptian lover caught after hot chase by sponsor Asian liquor peddler nabbed
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 29: Police have arrested an unidentified housemaid and her Egyptian lover inside the home of her sponsor, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to security sources the female sponsor saw cigarette smoke coming from the maid’s during daytime and when she opened the door she saw the maid and the Egyptian making love.
The Egyptian managed to escape from the room, got into his vehicle and escaped. The sponsor gave him a chase and pursued him until he crashed into a lamppost.
The Egyptian has been referred to the authorities for trespassing into a private property and committing immoral acts.
Asian liquor peddler nabbed: Securitymen from Khaitan Police Station on Sunday arrested an Asian bootlegger with 108 bottles of locally brewed alcohol.
Acting on a tip-off, head of the station Captain Abudlaziz Al-Ba’eer asked Farwaniya Security Chief Brigadier Ghloum, who formed a team of officers tasked to track down the suspect. The team sent an undercover agent to purchase liquor from the suspect, who agreed to deliver the ‘goods’ at an undisclosed location. The officers arrested the suspect upon completion of the bogus transaction and they found 108 bottles of local alcohol when they searched his car.
When the officers checked the suspect’s security records, they found out he is wanted by law for his involvement in various crimes. He was referred to the concerned security department for prosecution.
Trio admits theft: Police have arrested three Bangladeshis for stealing and dismantling cars and selling parts at the Amghara Scrapyard, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
The daily quoting security sources said police saw one of the thieves driving a half lorry loaded with used batteries and old auto parts and ordered him to pull over.
When police asked him for the source of the spare parts, he fumbled with the reply and finally admitted to stealing cars with two other accomplices and dismantling them and selling their parts.
He then gave police the details of his two accomplices who were caught in possession with parts of stolen cars. The men have been referred to the authorities.
Vital docus stolen: Police are looking for an unidentified burglar who allegedly broke into the office of Saud Al-Harbi, director of the Curricula Development Department at the Ministry of Education and stole important documents, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to security sources the intruder entered the office through a window. A case has been registered at the Mubarak Al-Kabir Police Station. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints.
