When will we get rid of those who do not work and do not want others to work?
MP AHMAD AL-SAADOUN said some people are pushing for the amendment of the BOT law to achieve personal goals. Doesn’t he know that those who work on or for the BOT are those who benefit from it? Does he want people without any interest in the BOT to work on it?
This issue requires clarity. Both the country and the beneficiaries have their own conditions. However, if the country has unjust conditions, no one will execute the BOT projects because oppression does not facilitate the work procedures. This has been the situation in Kuwait for several decades. The nation and its people do not benefit from the BOT projects due to the unfair conditions.
What does Al-Saadoun and others like him expect to get from hindering the development of regulations related to BOT? Do they want those who work on BOT projects to lose, believing that only certain people have the right to earn profits? This is nonsensical. When will we get rid of those who do not work and do not want others to work?
