MoI to provide docus on ‘Israeli’ Minister refutes reports on dual nationality
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 27: Interior Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Khaled Al-Sabha assured that the ministry will provide the Parliamentary Committee for Interior and Defense Affairs all necessary documents related to the entering of Israelis into the country, reports Al-Rai daily.
Talking about Israeli journalist Aldad Bak, Sheikh Jaber said the journalist himself confessed that he entered the country using a German passport, not an Israeli passport.
Commenting on his last meeting with the committee, Sheikh Jaber said they discussed all matters transparently and confirmed that the ministry took disciplinary action against all violators, even those who entered wrong data by mistake.
The minister also refuted reports that he issued a statement regarding the existence of dual nationality holders in Kuwait, saying the law doesn’t allow Kuwaitis to have dual nationality.
Commenting on fears about the Bushehr nuclear reactor, Sheikh Jaber said “we are working round the clock to stabilize security position in the country and we are coordinating with all governmental institutions and sectors to provide security and we are making all necessary preparations.” He also referred to reports about tapping system at land borders, saying they were fixed to allow ministry personnel stay in constant touch with authorities.
