Trio held for harassing girl 7 caught begging

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 26:  Jahra securitymen arrested three youths for harassing a girl inside a famous commercial complex in the governorate.
After receiving a call from the girl, securitymen rushed to the location and arrested the youths.  The officers also summoned the youths’ parents and asked them to sign a pledge to guide their children properly.

Youth caught drunk: Securitymen arrested a 22-year-old man in Salmiya for consuming alcohol.
The officers asked the young man to stop for inspection after noticing the erratic movement of his vehicle while they were patrolling the area.  When they demanded for his identification documents, the officers realized the young man was under the influence of alcohol.  He was taken to a nearby police station for prosecution.

7 beggars held: Securitymen arrested seven beggars, including two women, inside the mosques in the Capital and Hawally governorates Thursday.
Security sources said two of those arrested entered the country on visit visas.  Sources added the seven beggars were referred to the concerned department for the necessary legal action.

Police officer insulted:  A security officer filed a complaint against a Kuwaiti, who allegedly insulted him while he was on duty in Farwaniya Thursday.
According to the officer, he asked the Kuwaiti to stop for inspection but the latter refused to present his identification documents and shouted expletives at him, so he lodged a complaint against the citizen.
A case was registered and investigations are underway to verify the officer’s claim.
