KUWAIT CITY, Aug 25:  An Egyptian sustained injuries in different parts of his body after engaging in a public brawl with an Arab in Al-Salam area Wenesday.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene after receiving information on the fistfight.  They referred the Egyptian to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital and took the Arab to a nearby police station for questioning.
During interrogation, the Arab told police he had a heated argument with the Egyptian that escalated into a fistfight.  A case was registered against him at the station.

Phones, drugs seized: The Central Jail securitymen confiscated seven mobile phones, three rolls of hashish, and one gram of heroin from the inmates during a surprise inspection campaign Wednesday.
Acting on a tip-off, the securitymen launched the campaign that led to the discovery of the forbidden items.  The inmates who possessed the items were referred for investigation to determine how they smuggled the mobile phones and drugs to the Central Jail.

Saudi admits stealing cars: Police have arrested a Saudi for committing various crimes and infiltrating into the country, reports Alam Alyawm.
After receiving many car burglary complaints, the officers intensified efforts to identify the culprit.  During their search, they chanced upon a Saudi, who was consuming alcohol in an abandoned building.
While police were questioning the Saudi for the alcohol consumption case, he admitted to stealing from 15 cars.  Police also found that the suspect has been implicated in several crimes and he had earlier been deported for his involvement in a drug-related case.  It has been reported that he has infiltrated into the country. 
A case was registered and the suspect was referred to the concerned security department for prosecution.
