Dependent visa for a Father

Can I get a dependent visa for my father? My salary is KD 375/- and my wife is a school teacher earning KD 200/-. My father is widowed and old. There is no one to take care of him in Pakistan. I am the only son.

Name withheld

Answer:
All such applications are considered on a case by case basis. You have to convince the authorities that there is no-one to look after your father. Under normal circumstances you would not find it difficult to get a dependent visa for your father, but with the current restrictions on visas for a number of nationalities, including Pakistanis, it is not going to be easy.

But you should not be disheartened and must submit an application at the Immigration Department in your area. You could get it.

Business Visa conversion to Work Visaumerr | 8/28/2010 6:53:44 PM If a Pakistani University Graduate gets business visa of a company in Kuwait (after the aman doulah clearance) then after the person reaches in kuwait same company applies for his work (shaoon) visa, is there going to be any hurdle in issuance of work visa to him? He will already be having security clearance at the time of business visa application. Please reply.
there is no time limitSrivi | 8/28/2010 10:33:48 AM There is no time limit, for October. Cannot assure. It all depends upon govt decision and govt policy on security matters. Govt has to decide. wait for some more time, till govt announces it policy on pakistan visa.
October?umerr | 8/26/2010 7:52:01 PM Will they open visas after October for Pakistanis?
try ur luckSrivi | 8/25/2010 10:35:04 AM all depends upon the manager to approve. We cannot give any assurance as possible or not. Make a widower authorised certificate from your country home town, get it attested by foreign affairs pakistan, kuwait embassy pakistan, then foreign affairs, kuwait, submit to your area jawazat manager for approval. If agreed, you will get visa. otherwise, all your expenses are waste, in arranging attestations. Normally, for mother possible. father is under doubt. Also security reasons for pakistan nationals restricted visa procedures. try ur luck.
