Police recover 20 kilos of hashish from Kuwaiti in routine check

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 22: Mubarak Al-Kabeer securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti for the possession of 20 kilos of hashish Sunday. 
Acting on a tip-off, the directorate immediately formed a security team tasked to put the suspect under surveillance. After observing the suspect for some time, the team stopped him for routine inspection.  Noticing his confused state, the team searched his vehicle thoroughly until they discovered 20 kilos of hashish hidden in different parts of the car. He was referred to the relevant security department for the necessary legal action.

Car thieves nabbed: Jahra securitymen arrested Sunday three GCC nationals, in their 30s, for stealing vehicles and selling the parts at Amghara scrapyard. 
The securitymen put the suspects under surveillance after receiving information that they have been stealing vehicles, which they disassemble to sell the parts at Amghara scrapyard.  During the operation, the officers arrested the suspects red-handed while trying to steal a vehicle.   The suspects were referred to the concerned security department for questioning. They later admitted the crime and told police that they have stolen tens of vehicles, disassembled them and sold the parts at Amghara scrapyard.

Asians held with liquor:
Securitymen arrested two Asians for the possession of 12 bottles of locally brewed alcohol and five bottles of imported liquor Sunday.
While on routine duty in Mubarak Al-Kabeer, the officers stopped a vehicle for inspection.  When they approached the car, they noticed the confused state of the driver and his companion — both Asians, so they searched the vehicle thorough, resulting in the discovery of 12 bottles of local alcohol and five bottles of imported liquor. A case was registered and the suspects were referred to the concerned security department for prosecution.
