MANAMA, Aug 21: MP Adnan Al-Mutawa confirmed that Ministry of Communications will import similar machines used by Dubai in blocking pornographic sites on the BlackBerry, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The daily quoted sources as saying the device will arrive in the country in the next 45 days, and that its operation will be monitored by the ministry.
Sources indicated the process isn’t going to clamp down on the individual freedom, but it’s directed at ensuring safety in the country.
