Fake policemen pull out Iranian from car, snatch bag full of cash

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 18: Police are looking for three men for impersonating police and robbing an Iranian man, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The victim was driving in Andalus late in the evening and the trio blocked his way and forced him to pull over.
According to the complainant the robbers were using the blue police flash light.
One of the men then stepped forward and asked the man to show his ID. The other two men then grabbed him and pulled him out of the car, stole the money bag containing KD 11,000 and escaped.


1 hurt in brawl: A Kuwaiti, in his 30s, sustained injuries in different parts of his body after engaging in a fistfight with two compatriots in Ardiya recently.
Securitymen and medical emergency personnel rushed to the location after receiving information on the fight.  They referred the injured to Farwaniya Hospital, while the other two Kuwaitis were taken to a nearby police station for interrogation and other necessary legal action.

Flat raided: Thieves raided a flat belonging to a man who is out of the country and stole electric equipment, while damaging the water pipeline.
According to his neighbors in Jahra, they noticed that water was coming from the man’s flat, so they informed securitymen who arrived at the scene without delay. It was at that moment the officers discovered the theft. The case was registered for investigation.

Cellphones stolen:
Police are looking for an unidentified person for stealing 12 cell phones worth KD 1,500 from a vehicle belonging to a company selling electronics, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to the complaint filed by the driver of the vehicle, he parked the vehicle in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and went to break his fast. The suspect taking advantage of the situation because at that time of the day people normally are busy breaking the fast, broke into the car and stole the phones.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints.
