- Use silicon based primers that increase the wearing properties of foundations and prevent its discoloration as well.

- Some matte foundations are designed to last long too. You can also touch up with blotting powder to reduce the shine.

- Do not apply the concealer instead of foundation. Blend, apply foundation and then set the base with an oil absorbing powder.

- Use one shade lighter foundation to cover up the darkening caused by the oil.

- Use blotting paper and touchup during the day to pick up the excess oil.
